Healthy Foods vs. Junk Foods Game
Looking for a fun learning activity to teach your children how to eat healthy? This is such a fun and inexpensive learning game!
Provide two colorful empty tissue boxes – one labeled Healthy and the other Junk. Ask children to think back on what they ate yesterday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner or choose one meal from the previous week.
On separate file cards, ask children to illustrate and tell you about the foods while you write their words on the cards.
When the word cards are illustrated, have students decide which box each card should go in. Slide the cards into the openings of the appropriate boxes. After all the children are finished, carefully cut open the boxes and talk about your findings.
